Ann just dropped off my brand new, 7-piece Ensemble Set of titanium reinforced aluminum Pampered Chef pans (with silicone handles for a comfy grip!) that I splurged on for my birthday present! Yes, I know I shouldn’t have spent so much on these, that I could have gotten a better deal on something just as good from, say Ross or TJ Maxx or some other discount department store. But here is the thing, I was married once and in all the time we spent cooking together, you’d think Doug and I would have gotten ourselves a good set of pans. Besides, whatever good kitchen gadgets we did have, he ended up with them in the divorce.
And even though I lived with Marcel (a seriously bonafide gourmet foodie who has a love of helpful gadgets in and out of the kitchen) for five years after that, we still never had a decent set of pans.
Now that I am single again, and love to cook, and simply must cook for my family, I’ve decided it was time to invest in my kitchen.
Oh the joy this will bring!
I have them unwrapped and sitting out on my coffee table for me to admire before I wash and use them.
